About the Department
The Electronics and Communication Engineering department at LIET, Greater Noida, provides a comprehensive B.Tech program focused on core subjects and practical skills, covering specializations like VLSI and embedded systems. With experienced faculty and well-equipped labs, the department fosters a collaborative research and teaching environment, emphasizing both technical and professional development through workshops and seminars.
As per the institute Co-Op program, the department is also providing specialized training in the areas of microelectronics, telecommunication to VLSI Design and fabrication that develop expertise and knowledge of the students to compete in the respective fields of industries and academia.

To impart an exhaustive knowledge of the core subjects to the students in their respective fields of science and engineering.

To give exposure to the students about recent technologies developed in their respective areas and some inter-disciplinary fields across the globe through in-house training, company visits, and creating projects with advanced technologies.

PO1:
Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems in Electronics and communication engineering field.

Technical Club:
The Lab is dedicated to gain hands experience on web technologies. The The Electro-Guru is the official technical club of ECE/EEE department at Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. The club provides learning opportunities in Engineering, technology, innovation and design. The aim of the club is to technically strengthen the students by integrating their skill in various field including Microwave Engineering, Microelectronics, VLSI Design and fabrication, Networking and Telecom Sectors etc. It conducts workshop Seminars and Technical Cup events for students. High configuration machines are equipped with relevant software tools like Eclipse, visual studio, PHP, Web server, XAMPP, WAMP, LAMP, and Net Beans to name a few.List of the major career options after pursuing engineering in Computer Science.
