LTBIF: Empowering Innovation through MSME Support
The Lloyd Technology and Business Incubator Foundation (LTBIF) is a registered incubator under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, dedicated to nurturing innovation-led entrepreneurship. As a recognized MSME incubator, LTBIF plays a pivotal role in transforming early-stage ideas into impactful ventures through structured incubation programs and government-backed support schemes.
Through its dynamic Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), students at LIET have actively participated in MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0 and 3.0, successfully transitioning their startup ideas from the ideation phase to proof-of-concept (PoC) development. These initiatives have led to multiple incubated startups receiving financial assistance from MSME, enabling them to build prototypes, file for intellectual property rights, and initiate early-stage commercialization.
LTBIF places strong emphasis on inclusive entrepreneurship, with focused initiatives to support women founders and student innovators. Dedicated mentorship, targeted sessions on MSME funding schemes, and business model refinement workshops help them gain the confidence and tools to build scalable ventures.
Additionally, LTBIF enhances startup visibility and ecosystem engagement by hosting MSME Day events, startup exhibitions, and industry meetups in collaboration with local business stakeholders. These events foster meaningful networking, showcase innovations, and create valuable market linkages for emerging entrepreneurs.
