Dr. NidhiPuri is working as an Assistant Professor in Applied Science Department at Lloyd Institute of Engineering and technology, Gr Noida. She is an alumnus of JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi. She has completed her B. Sc. in Non-Medical Sciences and M. Sc. in Physics from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She has also done M. Tech. in Engineering Physics from University School of Basic & Applied Sciences, G. G. S. Indraprastha University, Delhi. Her academic career is lauded with NET, GATE, JEST certification along with Bhamashah Award, Gargee Prize and Gold Medals from various Universities.

Dr. Puri has completed her Ph.D. in Physics in an interdisciplinary research field of Biosensors from JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi with a reputed work place of CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. During the research period Dr. Puri worked as JRF and SRF till Dec 2014. Thereafter she started her career as an Assitant Professor and has good teaching experience in Amity University Noida and Engineering Colleges under the umbrella of AKTU. She has done many online value added certification courses to increase her knowledge and to be up to date to the present scenario.Her specific areas of research interests are in Bio-medical sensor applications, Nanotechnologyand Nanomaterials, Field effect transistors based biosensors and their biosensing Applications.She is also working in the field of Material Science where she is keen in working towardsdeveloping exotic Carbon based new marketable products for biosensing applications. She haspublished approximate 12 research articles in various reputed International journals andInternational conferences with excellent citations and h-indices.

Besides her excellence in academic career in Physics she is also working inEntrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) to createentrepreneurial and professional mindset in students so that they may become Job Providersinstead of Job Seekers.Dr. Puri also likes to listen to songs, solving puzzles and writing books. She is self-motivated with excellent communication skills and team management prowess.
