Electronics and Communication Engineering

About Department

Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is a broad area that attracts the attention of academia and industry professionals due to their vast applications. The Department of EEE at Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) was established with the objective to give a quality education to the students along with analytical and professional skills. The program is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow (UP). The department offers a full-time B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Facilities available in the department including good infrastructure, well functional laboratories such as basic electrical lab, electrical machine labs, electrical workshops, microprocessor lab, power system lab and power electronics lab helps in providing quality education to the students. The department faculties have academic/industrial experience along with good research background. In addition to the core subjects, students are also motivated to participate/join seminars, trainings, workshops and other extracurricular activities in guidance of faculty to improve their technical and professional skills in relevant fields. This has led Lloyd to infuse the EEE beyond the core area with relevant technologies that will allow students to integrate immense value to the organizations they will join. Veridical to its commitment to the core principle of Industry Link, Lloyd has appreciated the exigent requirement of the industry for next generation Automation skilled engineers. Responding to this need, it has upgraded its curriculum to incorporate Academic collaborations with the major leaders of the globe to provide a pool of Latest technologies.
